Recall that supposed Goldman Sachs employee has been Tweeting via @GSElevator about the very funny things he hears riding the elevators at the gilded bank, recounting, for example, talk about the person who saw “LB” at the gym and pronounced him “seriously hairy.”
The Tweeter got a lot of publicity not too long ago, which no doubt sparked an internal investigation at Goldman Sachs. Most people assumed the employee was a dead man walking, figuring he would eventually be outed. But nothing happened, so most assumed that Goldman Sachs had concluded that the writer was a fake.
The Tweeter may be a fake, but a a very funny one, as evidenced by a hilarious satire recounting an incident on a grueling roadshow when @GSElevator finds himself in an emergency. He has to use the bathroom, really, really badly--and the only toilet in the small private jet is a passenger seat in the back, with a wrap-around screen. As fate would have it, the CFO of the issuer happens to be sitting there. Hilarity ensues.
There’s no way this could be true. A columnist for The Big Picture (noted by DealBreaker) takes a look and comes to the inevitable conclusion that @GSElevator is not really a Goldman Sachs employee, which we already knew. Still, the person is quite talented, and the column speculates that the tweeter is an aspiring screenwriter, one with a future in the biz.
