Benchmark Capital, an early-stage technology venture capital firm, today announced that Matt Cohler, a senior executive at Facebook, will join the firm as a general partner. Mr. Cohler will join Benchmark in the fall and will maintain a relationship with Facebook, serving as special advisor to Facebook's founder and chief executive officer Mark Zuckerberg and to its senior management team.
